    True True, around were I live I hardly touch 6th gear. The largest highway the car has ever been on is 422! lol

    BIG difference at his power level, other I also say don't fear the gear especially with the mod motors.
    I had 4.30s in my DD '01 Cobra.

    I still don't see anything to gain at 700+rwhp.
    Can you datalog the tune in 3/4th where you think it doesn't pull as hard?
    Could be tune related.

    Well ill throw my 2 sense into this, my car is currently somewhere between 250-300 rwhp (not much compared to him i know haha) and I have 3.73 gears in it. on the track I come rather close to running over redline in 4th, now concider that I have the 5 speed and not the t-56 but correct me if im wrong but 5th gear in the t-56 isnt 1-1 still is it? if theres any way your car would possibly make 6th gear it would be a waste due to the overdrive use of the gear but like was previously stated for a car you dont really take to the track i see no problem with using 4.30 gears and if you do plan on taking it to the track at some point how the gears effect you 1/4 time will rely heavily on the tires you run and how they hook. if you spin you will definatly run out of gear but if your running a good pair of racing slicks at a low psi and it hooks you may just be reaching the limiter when you cross the line, its a tossup but like i said for your application i say go for it :) the more power the better! lol

    Its hard to explain bc anyone who would go for a ride with me would think I am absolutly think im crazy for thinking it could be faster. Its not that I think it has a problem in 3rd and 4th, im just stating Id think it could have more pull, or in other words I want more pull through the gears. I need to up the boost a little!
