Hopefully we will get the wheels from BiminiLX and the tires by then and be able to run the Cobra with traction for once. Trying to race on street tires is a pure waste of time and energy!

I plan on being there with as many friends as want to come with.

Any of you know if they will let me use my Hoosier DR on a different set of rims?

Got ya. Read their site real quick and it said something about 3/32 tread? Do they actually check up on that or just look for the DOT?

I want to say they don't give a damn. But then again they could always change it. I remember they never asked for my proof of insurance, and sure enough I take a car there the day after I bought it (so no proof yet, but still insured) and they gave me a hard time. But I usually stroll in and toss ET streets on the car and they don't care. There is no real "tech".

Got ya. Well I should be there, and I'll give it a shot. Worst case scenario, I put my low tread street tires on.

They were talking about this last Flat Out Day.
Since I can't go, I didn't really listen, but there will be an unofficial swap meet - unofficial because their zoning doesn't allow it.
Also something about a lemon race. I heard blahblahblah lemon race blahblah, so I have no idea exactly what it involves. I was still stuck on the idea that they had zoning at all out there!

Well the website is lacking in regards to a schedule or pricing..etc.

So I called and talked to some clown that really didn't know much about Saturday's activities. This is because BeaveRun is having a meeting later today to make Saturday's schedule...procrastination FTL

My comments were that they should update the website with the schedule after it's made, and that the Flashlight Drags should start at 4 instead of 5.

He said there is an endurance race ($500 car Lemon's-should be fun to watch if anything) scheduled until 5 so FLD's starting at 4 isn't going to happen....

So........check back later this week for a schedule...I'll be up there participating in the autocross and watching everything else.

It really is frustrating to deal with BR. When they were having their time trials on the North Track, same deal. Call, no info, most of the time the girl who answered had no clue they were even having a time trial. Tell you to fill out forms from the website, no forms on website. With that place you kind of just have to show up and hope for the best.
