You can carry anything comfortable concealed with the right holster. I recently purchased a IWB holster from CrossBreed Holsters and it is second to none of anything else I have ever tried. The super tuck delux is as advertised. Best part is it is a inside the waistband holster that you can actually still tuck your shirt in with. I can carry anything from my Glock 27 to my fullsized Glock 20 or 21 with the wider frames with not noticeable difference in comfort or concealment. Here's a link to their site:

Ed, if there was a way, you would have the BMG .50 on you too...

I don't but I know a few people that do. I conceal carry as I would rather not let anyone know what I have, out of sight is out of mind.
The people I know that do it have had very few incidents, most LEO are well aware that it's legal and for the most part will not bother you.

Rumor has it you like to water plants in the garden too .... :p
I used to carry a Glock 27 but it's just to big when I'm riding my motorcycle or in a suit so I have down sized to a Kel-Tec P3ST Freedom. It's tiny, has a crimson trace laser from the factory and there's no need for a holster because of the integrated belt clip! Yeah it's only a .380 but it will get the job done.

I carry a Kel-Tec P32 pretty much all of the time and agree with whomever said that the best one to carry is one that you will carry.
If I'm at a school function or at a location that is (claims) weapons-free, I lock it in the trunk.
The laws vary from state to state and it is your responsibility to make sure you comply with them, like that Ohio doesn't recognize PA's CCW permits. I use an iPhone app called "Gun Conceal" to check before I cross state lines and there are lots of web sites you can also use.
If you are coming to the Cabella's car show on Monday, they have lots of guns of all kinds and quite a few holsters.

It's expensive, but I don't think I'll find anything out there I like better for concealed carry than my Kimber Ultra.

IMHO, as someone thats shot a lot of pistols,,they arent a fashion accessory, get one that is comfortable and fits YOUR hand, not your buddys. It may be your life you put on the line with it.
Unless you have a .454 or a X-frame Smith, a little pistol is just something to help you fight your way to a rifle.
Learn to shoot it well.
I personally do not like Glocks after owning 1 G20 that was very ammo finicky, inaccurate, and the Teifner(sp) was wore off the guides in 100 rounds.
Again in my opinion, a Sig is everything a glock is and wants to be, that leaves you with a single stack 239,, I love mine.
Try and stay with a 9mm for a pocket pistol, .380 was hard to find over the summer and really expensive. If you like the caliber look at the PPK Walther.
The one thats allways with me is my little Kel-Tec PF9, I did the fluff n buff ran 200 thru and polished it off and have -0- problems. you cant see it in my pocket when its in a rug.
This is coming from a 10mm freak, love my 1086 and EAA but a .22 in your hand is allways better than a cannon at home.
Again, this is my personal preferance with some of the hand guns owned by me, I know there are lots more out there and many devoted Glock fans I'm sure I pissed off.
How did you determine this? Was the black finish removed? Just asking because the Tenifer finish is NOT the black, it is applied to the steel and bonded into the material surface. You would have to remove material to remove the tenifer! I have a 95 or 96 Glock 17 that I carried up until last year and the entire upper slide is worn through the black, yet it never shows any corrosion and is still protected 100%. My Glock has thousands of rounds through it and thousands of hours being carried and still functions like the day it was purchased. I just fell in love with the M&P and relegated the Glock to the refridgerator (sp) gun.... the M&P9C rides on my right hip now.

I'll share a little more detail about my G20, the slide rails had wear no doubt, the 4 tabs on the frame were much worse. they were a shiny metal and losing metal, the gold and the parkerized were gone. Glock took it for factory work, it had a problem and in an off record comment I was told to change ammo. Well I got rid of it when it came back because if I wanted a .40 Short and Weak, I'd have bought one not a 10. It did not hold up to full power "Norma" spec. 10mm loads like my EAA, S&W, Bren Ten, or even my Colt DE and it needed bushed and spings after 400 or so rounds
On top of that,, it was still ammo picky and off a ransom rest the best groups were around 6'' @ 25 yds. if I remember correctly.
I admit Gaston has a great product in other calibers that work for many people. Just not for me, thats why I said,, this is my opinion. I based that on facts from my personal experience and spending my money and time not reading magazines. Also I'm not a fan of the grip angle or striker actions especially on a full size piece. I like the DA/SA on the others or just an old fashion SA on my 1911 or Hi-Power. For the size of a G17 I will gladly shag a few rounds to have the horsepower of my EAA 10.
Anyways, you can't fairly compair a 9 to a full house 10mm and what holds them, the Norma spec,as Jeff Cooper designed them rounds, hit as hard at 150 yards as most 9mm's do at the muzzle.
Thats kinda like bragging about getting 300,000 miles on a Tremec in front of a stock 4 banger.
Side note for any other 10 fans reading this. I'd like to trade any info you may have on where to get stuff, info, history..
I know from shooting the round for about 25 years, and yes and original Bren from 1984, whats on the shelf is the FBI "lite" Not real 10's..
Anyone other than Doubletap have the real ones?
And to the OP,,I have a few you can try out.
