    Picked up another stang

Always wanted a 94/95. Just happened to see this one on CL earlier this week so I decided to pick it up for a DD. It's clearly been used as a drag car at some point but it's a completely rust free FL car with about 75k on the clock. It's got an 8 point cage, battery in the trunk and... a basically stock 5.0, lol. I'm unfortunately not totally sure of all the mods. It's got a CAI, shorties, off-road H with flows and dumps. The engine has a small unknown cam in it, probably an E cam. The rear seems pretty tight and has 3.55's or 3.73's. It runs really well so I'm assuming it has some sort of chip or tune in it to compensate for the mods. First mods will be S281 wing and maybe some different headlights then maybe a power adder at some point.

Thanks Cam, they're definitely better than any of the stock options in 94. I'll probably go with something else eventually, but I'm happy with them for now.

Very nice car Ray! Your out of garage space now aren't you?:D What color interior?

The tuning thing is iffy. The 94/95 cars are a somewhat pain to tune so its hard to say what they had done.

The wingless look is growing on me, but I'm still fairly sure that I'm gonna get an S281 wing for it.

I would be really surprised if it didn't have a tune cause it has a cam and the driveability is perfect and it doesn't bog between shifts like my brother's 95 which doesn't have a tune.

Yep, 85 is still chilling in the garage. I'm not sure what I want to do with that one. It's got a carb, so the hopes of it performing well and getting good gas mileage are sort of out the window and I didn't want the hassle of trying to convert it to EFI. The reason for getting this car was to get better gas mileage and be more fun to DD than my truck.

Saw the car after work yesterday and Ray picked up a pretty nice ride. You can definitely see remnants of some big power that once resided under the hood (passenger's side inner fender hole is cut very large, right above which the hood is notched, evidence of a big intake rubbing the bottom of the hood, 8 pt is kind of obvious, it has a non stock fuel pump because it can be heard running, marks from slicks rubbing the rear bumper, drag shocks in the back, rolled rear fenders when the car is wearing 8" wide GT wheels...oh and the "VORTECH SUPERCHARGED" license plate frame...haha)

Still a very solid car regardless of what purpose it used to serve, very clean only a few small scratches, and not an ounce of rust (Pittsburgh will fix that...lol). A few small changes and it'll definitely be lookin great and running pretty strong.

As I said to Ray when we were sitting at the red light, "Pretty ridiculous that your DD is cammed and caged!" lol, but very awesome
