The tires I run as street tires are pretty grippy. They are Nitto NT-05's and they are for road racing and some, drag racing. The reason I may run them is to do some autocross also.

I kind of wish I just took my mustang up there on street tires. I'd get slaughtered by a lot of shit but I could have some fun on the track after the race. Last time I was on bias plys with 11psi in them and now I will be in a car with no front sway bars and big n littles. Luckily I think I have my friend talked into bringing his STi up maybe I will just ride with him for a little.

That's the exact reason I was gonna leave my nittos on was for after the race. It's an abolute blast to hammer around the track after the race. It's hard to do it with drag radials.
