The other McCool next to my stuff ... This is the car that had ther 12.00 average won until they figured out his fronts where DS-2's and DQ'd him :D All the while nobody noticed he was on full slicks too ;)
Tom Jr's ride (went to 8 cars in Saturday's bracket)
Tom Sr's ride (lost the round before Jr, so he went deep into the brackets too).

Dave's notch is right at 3100 #'s as raced. This is a full weight car, with legal mild steel cage, etc. He actually could be lighter but runs a bit of ballast in the trunk to make the car go straight.
A dressed iron headed 2.3 (Dave's is aluminum) weighs more than an aluminum headed 5.0 to put things in perspective. It's a dinosaur engine built on 60's casting technology. That makes 'em tough, but heavy. The shipping weight on the head that just came to me was 68#'s for reference (one head)
What did the '65 and '66 coupes run? What is done to each of them - nice rides!!!
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.
1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle
1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands
The green one is a low 12 second 347 combo. Just a mild combo they bracket race. The copper one is a 347 on E85, same basic engine but runs mid 11's. Both where almost 3 tenths off their typical times out there.
The green one went down to 8 cars in the combined B2 / B3 class Saturday, and the copper one was out the round before.
The guy driving the green one is a 2.3 guy normally, but his junk was broke so he ran his sisters car.
