BAD miss on my 95 gt

Misses bad with even the slightest bit of acceleration.Changed out coil...unplugged MSD 6al...check igniton module at autozone....all plugs looked fine

Just started right out of the blue.If you let the car set a few minutes it will start up and not miss for 30 seconds or so..I am not too familiar with 94/95 cars so I don't know if there is something else these cars are know for or not...Any help would be appreciated..I don't know what else to try or look for

has a nice set of Taylors on it but who knows...they could be bad....it sounds like it runs on about 4 cylinders when you nail it...if you ease on the throttle it is ok....all the plugs looked exactly the same that is why I didn't think it was an injector....damn thing was running good and have an appt at SGS on Friday...I need to fix this thing lol

Check the cap for cracks, could be arcing. Also, does it have the stock distributor?

    Nothing like high-tech troubleshooting..lol
With these stock distributors, the bushings have a tendency to go away, causing the shaft to wobble inside the housing..just a thought.
Try running the engine in a dark location and look for arcing betweeen the plug wires and the headers..possibly a burnt wire. been there, done that!

Was just thinking about running it in the dark...it definitely seems like an arc to me...

Hey guys I appreciate the advice...a stock distributor to swap out around here is going to be a real treat to find....I'll do some more looking tomorrow night and see what I find out

I was just going to say try it in the dark and look for arching.

I had an MSD coil and cap on my car and they were both crap. I had a bad miss issue and it turned out #8 cylinder wasn't getting spark. I changed out the coil and it helped some but it didnt cure it. But as soon as I changed the cap and rotor, it ran 1000X better.

I somehow missed this thread, but I'm glad it was a simple fix.
