    GM 4.3 guys out there?

    Purchasing a truck off my dad, 93 blazer with a 4.3 Votec engine. Its probably worth scrap, but I'm almost positive the SPFI needs replaced (Sequential port fuel injection). The poppets in the "spider injectors" go bad, so I'm looking to replace it with a Manual fuel injection kit.. Anyone ever replaced this? As what it seems, all thats needed it pull off the intake manifold, disconnect the injectors and take the bolts out for the assembly. Then reinstall the new ones.

    Some guy at a chevy dealer told me a part superseded to a set of fuel rails for the truck. Im almost positive the fuel rails are below in the upper intake, so I'd have to remove that as well if I needed to replace the rails...Anyone ever done this before on a 4.3? If so insight would be great..Thanks!!

    They are not worth putting gas in. I had a 2000 ZR2. Dexacool ruined it

    Not a hard job. I currently have a 99. I had to put a motor in it. Made sure to drain all the dexcool out and fill with green stuff. Dex plugged my heater core.

    93 easy,remove top of intake,replace spider,reinstall top of intake!
