I'll probably only be getting back from school at about 7 otherwise I'd probably go. Good luck though! Remember, if you have any problems, there is about a 100% chance they will go away with more RPM!
Well, not as good as hoped for, but 11.7 at 120 was the best of the night. Still spinning pretty hard through 1st gear. It was the 2nd time at a drag strip and the first time with the Bias DOT slicks. We have some learning to do..... I'm going to force BiminiLX to come to the track with us and help us out!

Don't get discouraged ...
QTP's need 4-5 passes of break in. Before that they will be inconsistant, but when they are through those heat cycles they will start to hook like a mofo.
QTP's are also VERY sensitive to burnout procedure. You need to spin them until you see smoke, then start to rool out of the water as you reduce power and they will go into bite. As soon as you feel the bite, you need to push the clutch in and go stage. If you don't bring the power down on them, they will stay greasy. If you burn the snot out of them, they will stay greasy. Not hot enough is better than too hot with them. It's hard to type, but you will get the feeling quick (Heck, Wick got it ;) )
BTW- It's really tough to get a good burn out process like I desctribed at QCR because of the hill.
The next time out, they will hook better just based on those heat cycles. Fix your burn out process and hang on!
