after a long 11hr drive i brought my old and once again my car home.
those who know me and have seen it in the past, i sold it to a collector in NH state who specializes in these ssp mustangs. he restored the car to exactly how it should be if it was in service being used when new. the radio etc is all 92 spec stuff which is exactly what was in the car when it was used....after seeing it done in pics, i asked him if it ever become available for sale to contact me and unexpectedly he did....sooner than i was expecting but things worked out.
the car is a rust free 92 ssp notch. aod, manual windows and locks. med titanium paint which is a rare color for 92. it is one of 11 that was used by the Pa state police for covert traffic enforcement. they were never used in the winters nor in the rain.
wig wag lights work now along with siren etc. its bascially going to be a show car now. going to apply for classic plates. the radio and equipment is all period correct and exactly what the car had in it while in service.
the body on it is fabulous. it was a virgin rust free body to begin with but it really needed paint. i am very picky and can say the paint is awesome. all emblems, trim etc have also been changed.
the wheels that are on it are ones i had powdercoated black before i sold it, although to be "correct" they should be the regular finish 10 holes.
i should have gotten out in the sun for better pics, i have never been a fan of this color, but must admit being fresh it looks great in the sun.
