Haunted Houses!!!!

I love haunted houses and its that time of year again. Im curious as to what is the best haunted house in the Pitt area. Ive heard rumor of one that is around $50 and if you make it through all the levels you get you money back. Is this place real and if so, is it still operating? Also where else do you guys suggest?

I haven't been to many of them but Hundred Acres Manner in South Sark is a pretty good one..not really scary, but kennywoods fright nights is a awesome place to go with your girl or with your friends..

Not exactly what you are looking for, but my Wife goes to "Pumkin fest" every year in and around Conneaut lake (I'm usually out of town, will be again this year, and it's her family thing)

They have some kind of overnight ghost hunts hunts at the old Moundsville prison I think. We were there at night once and that place is creepy. Overnight would be probably be cool. More than a few people died in the electric chair there as well as other ways. Who knows. They claim the place is really haunted. :hang:

Yeah, I agree I do Rich's every year. It's great and they always do something a lil different. The Scarehouse in Etna is pretty good as well. Kennywood is a good place for the GF or buddies to go and goof around. and for the money it's tough to beat. I went to the haunted Prison a few years ago. It had potential but I feel they didn't work it like they could have. IDK And yeah I heard the same thing that it really is haunted.

nothing else really good lol. I did what you're trying to do a few years back. Nothing beats fright farm, put's all the local park setups etc to shame

I was kicked out of the South Park one about 7 years ago and was told I was never allowed back.

When reaching the end of the walk-thru, they had a dark maze. People couldn't find there way out and it was getting backed up. People were also losing their patience and becoming irritated. So I hoisted myself up onto the wall for 5 seconds to get a birds-eye view of the situation.

After exiting the house one of the fat wanna-be security guards said "that's him in the orange shirt" and approached me. He began to yell in my face and told me I was putting peoples safety at risk by climbing up that wall and that I was never allowed back.

In a calm voice, I told him he has no authority over me, and that he would be much better off if he focused that energy on helping people exit the house, because having a bunch of people jammed up in a dark maze with no way out is a much more dangerous situation than me peaking over a wall for 5 seconds.

Then I told the security guy to go fu*k himself with the cop standing right next to us. He looked like a deer in headlights as I walked away. Fu*king Loser.

Scarehouse in Enta was rated one of the top 10 Haunted Houses in the country. I went last year with 2000GT.... we waited in line for about 1.5 hours but it was worth the wait!

Yeah i heard scarehouse is pretty good. I delivered a big pigs head to him couple months back (i work for fedex freight). He said he makes his living at that. Prepares all year for one month!

Kennywood's Phantom Fright Nights is awesome! I have heard about the one in Etna, been wantin to check it out.
