Any 3" Exhaust to fit with solid rear axle?

03 Cobra Vert with 8.8 solid rear and long tube headers, it has 3" dumping in front of the rear axle currently. Is there anyone that does a 3" system that will fit with the solid axle?

My Fahter took the car to a custom bender who said you can't run over the solid axle on this car, but we are not the only folks to have a solid axle and wish to have the pipes exit in the OEM locations.

    Please advise.

I'm not sure if there is a standard 3" kit that will fit with the MM suspension (panhard, etc.) under there.
I've had a MAC 3" kit over the axle with tailpipes on my LX and it fit great.
Best bet would be to call MM and ask, but custom is probably your only route.

I know guys that have done it, but IMO it just isn't worth it. Not much room under the car with the panhard.

So what is the best option for a LEGAL exhaust? Stopping in front of the rear axle with a set of turn downs... I kind of doubt that fits within the law.

I was looking into Spintech, they have a side exhaust available with oval tubing, that should clear subframe connectors, that is probably your only option, or just put tails on (2.5" if you need to) to get through inspection, and then put your turndowns back on. I think you could get it inspected with turndowns though, many have.

Side exit exhaust flow like shit! I've had the mac 3" kit with 3-1/2 tails on my car before. I know it's not a 03 Cobra, but its the same car. Good friend of mine has one down here and I've done a ton of work to it. He calls nuts and bolts, screws if that tells you anything.
