    N/A stock shortblock H/C/I dyno #'s and VID.

    Had the chance to wring out the ole' 5-Liter on the dyno this past weekend. The combination is not changed since the outing last October that produced a 10.76@123.63. This is a N/A OEM stock shortblock sporting ported TFS T.W.'s, off the shelf hydraulic roller cam, and an out of the box Holley Systemax II intake. A Ford Motorsport Extender eliminates the 6,250 rev-limiter. No other tuning is employed in the combo (besides adjustable fuel press. reg. and advancing base timing)

    SAE RWHP 344.81
    SAE RWTQ 335.17
    * 10.76 tune

    *After making some adjustments on the dyno (eliminating alt. belt and altering induction piping we arrived at the highest numbers of the day.

    SAE RWHP 351.99
    SAE RWTQ 344.63

    STD RWHP 360.04
    STD RWTQ 352.51

    Here is a video of one of the pulls.

    Thats awesome! Man, I should have stopped by, but I was dead tired. What are you hoping to run this year? A good bit faster than last year?

    Congrats on hitting 350rwhp Joe, that's a tremendous feat! The car sounds bad ass too on the dyno!!!

    Just think what nothing more than a set of aftermarket pistons and milling of the heads would do!!!

    Jope can absolutely drive the balls off his car. I've seen some good drivers, but Joe is in another league. He has the recipe down for getting stellar numbers from a max effort combo:
    light weight (2875lbs with driver according to THIS) + proper gearing + dead hooking suspension + a great driver= increadible numbers.

    Best 60' is a 1.44 The peak power number of 360rwhp does not define the combo well. Average power production across the intended useable rpm range creates efficiency. From the inception of the H/C/I selection, the avg. power output has been at the forefront as far as goals were concerned.

    Carefully matched parts (read: sometimes smaller means more) and a chassis that puts the power to the ground in an efficient manner contribute to the elapsed times it has been able to achieve.

    Joe knows what he is talking about. Bigger isn't always better, you have to match your parts right and do a little research. Peak HP numbers don't always = fast E.T. A car might make 400 hp @ 4300 and 310 @ 6000. You should take your avg. through out your rpm range.

    Nice video Joe, I wanted to make it up, but I was changing the gears in my car and didn't get done in time. What initial timing does your car like best?
