Updated Ram pics

Finally finished the first round of changes. Tinted windows, leveling kit, and side exhaust. Leveling kit is a 2" kit from Hell Bent Steel. Last two pics are a comparsion of before and after the leveling kit.

So, i'm kinda wondering.... i see people always putting these leveling kits on their trucks... but there has to be a reason that each manufacturer makes the truck the way they do... why do the trucks have some much rake from the factory? Possibly so when hauling large loads in the bed, the nose isn't sticking straight up in the air?

I would think the load thing as you said.

My Dodge is so soft in the back for about the first 3" as it goes downward. I think they tune the springs for ride, so they are so soft that any load in the bed levels it out pretty fast. After mine gets down a few inches, or when I have trailer tounge weight, then it's stiff like a truck.

X2 same thing with my Ford and pretty much all 1/2 ton trucks.

Mine doesn't even drop with a trailer and car being towed. Truck stays perfectly level. One thing I like is the fact the ride is VERY firm but comfortable with the aftermarket lift springs. I hate trucks that ride like a car.

Sweet truck.

Yeah right before I bought it the guy put on a brand new set of the stock replacement tires. As soon as they wear out ill be looking for something a littler taller and more meat. Going to stick with the stock wheels.

So far I have been looknig at
Nitto Terra grappler- 34" and 35"
Nitto Trail grappler- 35"
Cooper Zeon LTZ - 33"

If anyone knows of any other tires similar to these lemme know.

No idea on bigger sizes, but I went to the Copoper Zeon's on my ram on the stock 20" wheels (stock size) and could not be happier with them. It's enough of tread to be usefull versus those "summer tread" Goodyears, agressive look, and the best price / tire I could find. I love those tires.

Those do look really good on there. What size are those?

I think when i checked the only size they had was stock size. Wish they came a little taller but if they hold up well then you cant beat that price.
