She is getting her car built!

Well after going to the tack to help me race for 20 years, my wife Tanya is getting her own car built. We have had this 98 for about 10 years now, and was just a daily 6 banger. She used to run it years ago in the street clas, and was a wicked fast 16 sec ride. Well it's going to be alittle quicker this time. We have a new Roush 408 sitting on the stand, and a whole bunch of new Team Z suspension parts in the box. So today was the offical start of the tear down on it. This will be a 90* street car, and 10* strip car. She is getting excited that is under way, so I will keep the updates coming. Here it is as it's last look as a stock street car. Now I just have to find someone to do some tin work on it! LOL

If she out drives me, the dragster seat is all hers. Well maybe!

Nice car, but I like the hydro better!!!! I raced those when I was in school in Michigan. If you ever tire of it and want to have it restored, I have a garage!!!!;);)

Its a 12' tunnel hull I picked up locally. We used to have one when my brother and I were 10, and 12 years old. I am currently redoing it. It has all new steering hardware, new bulkhead, floor seat, and just about everything else. I found a like new 1970, 50 horse Merc that has been stored sinced 73. I should have it ready to paint this fall, and in the water by spring.

I think I've seen some video of them being raced on a river, two stroke motors? They looked like fun!

Yeah, I'm ready to go ripping across the lake in it. Should be fun! And my wife, who is getting the Mustang, made sure the seat in the tunnel hull will go far enough forward, so she can drive it. I think I'm going to have to keep my eye on her.

Here are the updated pics. I don't have enough time during the week to get things done, so I have to jam on it on the weekends. We have it stripped down to the shell, and have the new steel inner skirt, and frame rail covers set in place. I will keep the updates coming.
