Here is the latest on the build. I am mocking everything up right now. So I got the front suspension, and motor in. I made an tubular lower rad mount because I just hate the look of the original. I spent some time making the brake lines, and electrical all hiden. It all runs on the outside of the frame rails, and up behind the radiator. If you look close at the fuse box on the driver side strut tower, you can see the proportional valve hidden in with it. I made the brake line from the line lock on the dr side all the way to the pass side all one piece. I don't get much time to work on this thing, so I need to jam on it when I get a free afternoon. The next step is Team Z sub frame connectors, and start on the cage. I will keep the updates coming.

Here is a little better pic of the line lock on the dr frame rail. After I get everything mounted and routed everything will come apart and get painted.

    Nice job Scott!

How come you dont hide the fuse box in the fender also?

I hide mine there and didnt have to extend any of the wires or anything.

Gives the drivers side that much of a cleaner look without it there.

    Keep the updates coming bud!

Yeah, I know. I probably should have, but we will see how it turns out. I'm sure when its all done, I will say "I should have moved it".

I'm sure when you blow a fuse you will say "I'm glad I didn't move it"

The motor is a Roush 408
    Ford M-6049 cnc ported heads
    Hydralic roller cam
Made 410 hp on the dyno, with 475 ft pds torque
When we spected out the motor, we wanted a nice street, strip motor that my wife could jump in, fire it up, and go cruisin, or drive it to the track. So Ben Mens ,from Roush, hooked us up with this. We are building the car to run 10's, but she will be starting out in the 12's. We can build bigger and faster motors, but the car will always be ready. So we will let her go beat the snot out of this thing, and have some fun doing it.

Ok, here are the lastest pics. I got the Team Z sub frame connectors installed. They went right in with no problems. I also made a shifter mount for the B&M shifter. It's set up to use the stock console, so the shifter sits right above the stock shifter plate, and right in front of the cup holder. The last thing I got done was making a set of mini, mini tubs. I cut the front only out of the wheel tub to get rid of the flat spots. The guys with the SN cars know that with a 10" tire it wants to rub the front of the stock wheel tub, well this make more room for the tire. And the best part is you can still use the stock plastic interior quarter trim panel, without modifiing it. It is still slow going because of no time to get things done, but it is still moving alone. I still plan on having it done by mid spring. Stay tunned.
