Ideally, I'd love to see them both lose in the semi-finals and enjoy Boston and TB battle it out in the East finals. But if one of them go, I'd rather see Wash go just because of my hatred for Philly.
But the other half of me says that I don't ever want to see Ovie, Semin and Boudreau win a championship. So.......

Great playoff year, even if we're not in it. I still think it's going to be the West's year to win it.
I was really pulling for a TB and Boston East final the whole time after we got bumped out. But I did say that if either team made it to the finals they will lose to the West.
Love to see TB or Nashville win it all out of everyone that's left.

...think we should most definately bring him back to the Burgh!! It'd be a pretty big deal, almost as big as Mario comin back! When I work't for NBC er VS. in the Stanley Cup playoffs his last year of his last game here in the Burgh when we took'em out of contention for the Cup. I was walking down the visitors hallway to get a pre-game or in between periods interview with my Camera man in their runway, when we said whats up to each other one on one, him sayin whats up first while he was pumpin himself up on a bike! It was pretty freakin awesome!! I felt ssooo bad for him at the time cause every shift he took in the Burgh, we'd boo the crap outta him! And i didn't feel he deserve'd it bringin two Stanley Cups here, one comin here his Rookie year!

This has been flying around for a while now....
I think as long as he'll take a low enough salary, we have a good chance to get him... I have mixed feelings on whether or not its a good idea, but i think i would lean toward taking him....
I think he's still going to be an elite scorer, just because he's naturally born with it.. he's older, so he probably can't be the workhorse, but we already have that taken care of... whether he's on Malkin or Crosby's line, he won't be the one getting the most attention, so it should take some pressure off...
keepin' my fingers crossed... Crosby, Malkin, Jagr, Neal and a point man on the PP will be a scary thought for any goalie... but ONLY if they can find someone to run the PP... SO much talent, but no one to setup the 1-timer for Malkin, and no one who the defense respects enough to let Crosby roam around and be effective...
can't wait to get the season started again

I really hope the Pens don't screw this up and find a way not to sign Jagr. He still plays very good. I can see if the Redwings offer more money but I think he wants to come back the Burgh. As the hints of what he wants is really not a deal killer. 2 mil a year with performance bonus sounds seems cheap to me. I'd just give him that year to year for long as he wants to and can still play. Plus he doesn't have to go far to gamble :)
He is back doing his normal off season routine.
