Who Traps 140mph on pump gas?? THIS GUY
Well guys, today was the day. I got up bright and early, and headed to Beaver Springs Dragway. I didn't really know what to expect. All I knew was the car made 624hp/622TQ on the dyno, and I could be rolling 85mph down the road and go Wide Open Throttle and just blow the tires off this thing on command. The day couldn't have went any better for me really. I weighed my car, and it weighed 3405 with me in it.. I've been wanting to know that for a while. After tech, I went right into the lanes and made a 3rd/4th gear pull. I knew it was going to be a good day at this point. I rolled out slow, shifted into second even slower, put it into 3rd just before 1/8 mile and slowly rolled into it and hammered through 3rd and then all through 4th gear. I ran a 15.204 at 128.93mph! I got my time slip and was like holy shit. I made a slew of 10 second passes, and Made 10 passes down the track today. My best 60' foot was a 1.7. I couldn't hook first or second to save my life today. I tried coming off the 2 step, but that was wayyyyyyy too much power, so I went back to old faithful.. rev it up and let it fly.. I went 10.7 at 140mph! The shifts were sloppy and I bogged, but man the car runs good. I ran 106.48 in the 1/8th mile! That was my best MPH of the day. I did run a 10.66 a little bit later at 138.88. I went 106mph in the 1/8 on that pass also.
EDIT: I forgot to mention i'm hitting the limiter at the 1000' mark, so i had to raise it from 6200 to 6600. Needless to say i make Scratch for power up that high.
I'm going to be uploading the videos right after I post this, and I'll post some when i can. I am totally impressed that this car went 140mph on 93 octane with stock fuel system. I'm awesome LOL.
