    Talking Just purchased 2008 GT500!!!!

I traded in the wife's 2006GT for this...........

    It's a 2008 model with 16,000 miles.
Purchased from Capital Ford in Rocky Mount, NC.
Has borla mufflers, K+N cold air kit, tinted windows, hood shocks, mirror covers, and shelby underhood dressup items.

Plans for future include tune/pulley, wheels/tires, lowering springs.

Nice! I highly recommend VMP for your pulley and tuning needs. Also, check out Teamshelby.com and fordgt500.com. Two great sites/resources for mod'ing GT500s. Congrats!

    Thanks again guys.
I actually tuned it tonight. I removed my XCAL3 SF handheld tuner from my 2008 F150 (returned to stock) and loaded up the canned tune for the GT500.
Took it out and it feels much better than stock.

However I experienced the dreaded wheel-hop!!!

Any opinions on running the SF tune for now with my K+N cold air kit (already installed when I bought car)?

Congrats, nice ride! You can pickup alot and make the throttle responce so much better with a tune on the Gt500's.
