    bonneville engine failure

Hey guys, back from Bonneville. The trip was long and not a good ending at the salt. The first pass was about 215.00 MPH and Steve turned it off. The pipe for the Procharger was not tightened all the way, and it was not making full power. The second pass Steve just went by the 2 mile mark, and the engine went SOUTH!!!!!, Big holes in the pan, abort the run!!!! It was at 231.99 MPH at that time!!!!!! Hope to have some pics from out there soon. We put a camera on the back of the car the final run, it is on Youtube under,,,,,,, "Bonneville Engine Failure" check it out!!! Watch the ext. oil pump gear go out the back of the car, along with engine parts!!!! I hope to go back there again.:)

I'm pretty sure it has an F-1 on it and it makes well over a grand at the wheels, from what I have been told.

It is a 04 Cobra or was, with 4.6 all the good stuff inside with a F2 Procharger, making over 1150 HP.
