this whole thread needs dropped!everyone knows when you get a used car off someone you either 1) tear the car down to make sure what they say is the truth or 2) take there word for it. with no written agreement both parties traded "as is" so sorry to say, but lick your wounds and move on. if it lets you sleep better call it a learning experience. bottom line, "live and learn!"

Sorry but a mans word should mean something, from what it sounds like he was not true to his word.

My 2 thoughts:
1) If you advertise something incorrectly (accidental or not) you should try and make it right.
2) If you buy something used in person, you need to look everything over yourself very carefully.

this is the lost post in this thread ill do. im not going to argue with him over the forum we can settle this in court or however he pleases. the offer is still there to him like i said before. if he is NOT happy he can have his car back. im not hiding this car from him if he wants it back he can. ive said this a few times. everyone can post on this and bash me all they want thats ok, but i wont argue.

Good call jay it was a mistake on both parties and sometimes you have to take a loss and learn from it. Most of us have unfortunately experienced this buying used parts. Good luck to the both of you and hope you can resolve ur problem at hand.

I was going to sell it maybe...The upgrade is $800 and I was asking $400 out of him for ALL the stuff wrong...He's a crook he ain't coming off a dime...

gray should get a trailer, haul strockers car down to him and pick up his car and split the notary costs evenly. done deal, everyone gets their stuff back and all's settled.
