    PRP staff

I saw guys running around everywhere today, at the front gate a guy was running up and down the rows of cars and trucks trying to get everyone signed in so all you had to do is pay and go

My only compaint is with the the one older tech guy... Frank I think. If he ever rubs his radio up against my car again I will personally stick it 2 feet up his ass. Someone needs to have a talk with him. Thank you.

We stayed through the last run, we got 5, I think a lot of people had 60 ft trouble. It was a nice day for BS'ing, but our times just weren't there, oh well, probably try again next week!

Simply put, if you had ANY trouble hooking on that starting line Saturday, you need to fix your car, your tires, or your technique. That was as good as it gets on ANY track ANYWHERE.

There was all the bite you could want out there if you put your car in the groove.

I was there at 10a.m. and left at 4 p.m. and I got two runs. They had a mistake on the start time on the website which delayed racing for an hour to start with, and there were a few oil/fluid downs.

There hasn't been any complaints on how many runs people have been getting all year, I think you need a new one

Okay, well the time you show up doesnt count against the track and oil downs is a part of the sport and everyone still got five runs. And if there was an error on the website oh well it happens. The point is everyone got plenty of runs all year during the TNT. The track was prep the same as a race day and gamblers races were only run once a month. I think everyone should be prescribe xanax and quit worring about stupid $hit.

One thing I would like to see changed is tech and enforcing safety rules such as helmets, 5 pt harnesses and roll bars for 11.49 and faster, drive shaft loops and etc. I might just volunteer for TNT's next year and when you dont pass tech the next thing everyone will cry about is having to drive all that way and turn around and go home.

I couldn't agree more, but doubt it will ever come to be.

Speedracer - being serious - did you ask Frank to please watch his radio? I'm willing to bet he did not realize it was on your car. Frank is a car guy too, been racing Mopars for years. And even if he wasn't, I'm sure he wouldn't want to damage anyone's car.

The error on the website is frustrating. That wastes people's time, and it potentially causes dangerous situations if traffic gets backed up onto 22. The good thing Saturday is PRP kept running, right past that 5pm end time, well past 6pm for test and tune. If that Malibu hadn't cost an hour clean up, there would have been 6. The gassers didn't cost any time at all hardly, and were pretty damn cool.

NOTE: PRP has changed the site, gates open at 11, time trials start at noon, for the remaining test and tunes.

That will give the sun more time to warm up the track too, and help traction. I had my best ever 60', 1.620, on Saturday, so track worked for me.

I am amazed when people show that much disregard for their own safety, namely not wearing helmets or having a driveshaft loop ($30 investment and maybe an hour's work!). A little leeway on the rules is ok, like if in mineshaft air someone goes 11.40. But going 10s all summer long with no cage, a racer would deserving of being tossed out. And the sad thing is people will complain when they get tossed, even though the rules are there for their own protection, and to protect their opponent.

He did it 2 years ago also... I came around the side of my car and there it was before I could say or do anything, I'm not an ass and I don't enjoy flipping out. My car is in very nice shape, I get moody when there is dust on it and it bothered me more getting my car pushed off the track (hands all over my black paint) than snapping the axle Saturday. I asked a few people around me and they said he did it to their cars as well, all I'm asking is that someone has a talk to him so he's aware he's doing it. I think what would cure the problem is putting the stickers on the passenger side of the windshield instead of in the middle.
