    New best 13.63 @ 102.64

Track: Mason Dixon Dragway: Hagerstown, MD
    Elevation: 550'
    Temp: 60-ish degrees.
    Mods: custom IHI/16T hybrid turbo @ 11psi
    225/50-15 drag radials

    60' 2.062
    1/8 8.808
    MPH 81.67
    1/4 13.631
    MPH 102.64

First time with drag radials and I'm disappointed.
I could not get a decent burnout.. it would just drag the rear wheels and spin off the line.
Tires were as low as 11.5 psi, still didn't get below 2.0.

    Vids shortly!

Nice! Good tires and fast tracks are an amazing combo!

Can't wait to see the video.

Nice times! It's painfully tough getting a FWD to run a good time. I went 13.0 @ 110 in my Monte Carlo today- just couldn't hook it up. Had to roll out slow and even then I'd spin when I'd go WOT 30-40' out.

    Congrats! Nice pass!

Out of curiosity, why so low on the tire pressure? When I ran MT DRs, I ran 18psi. Even in the slicks now, I run 16psi.

Actually on that pass it was probably 13psi.
I started at 16psi and kept dropping it when my 60' didn't get any better.

Again, just curious, because of what I'm used to, which is going up in psi til 60'/traction gets worse. That is freakin' cool to be hauling like that in a Focus. Might have to get one for my next daily driver. :D

You're exactly right, but I hadn't found a decent psi "bottom" yet that gave me a better 60' than the one above.
After 15 passes Saturday I figure I can determine a reasonable psi for next time though.

I forgot to mention my passenger side tire was rubbing the strut.. rubbed half the letters off the tire.
Not sure how much that hurt my times.

If anybody is curious, the car ran 16.35 @ 85mph bone stock, and 14.74 @ 96mph before the 16T compressor upgrade.
So if anyone with a Tbird still has the IHI RHB52 turbo, the 16T compressor upgrade is definitely worthwhile, while still keeping your low-end torque.
