    My stock LS1 12.26 pass

EDIT: IF AT WORK: Cut video right after you see the times because in my moment of excitement I let the F-bomb fly once.

    Mods are:
    Full Exhaust
    SLP Airbox Lid
    3.73 gears
    Vigilante Converter
THATS ALL! Stock 123k mile car.

My 255lb fat ass could only go 12.32 in it so here is my 195lb friend getting the best pass of the day.

If I race it again this season or at the FLD's you need to take it for a ride again. All that was done to it since you drove it was the converter, but this thing hits hard. I can get it to work on the street too with the ET streets.

    That thing launches good.

What's the actual stall rpm of the converter?

    How much does it weigh?

No idea on the weight, but the converter is a Vigilante 4000. I don't know what the actual stall of it is because I footbrake and don't have a trans brake. But it seems to flash in the neighborhood of 4000rpm. We footbrake it to ~2000 and then stand on it off the line.

I have the cheap flat-rate 70264 I think it is, the B&M Tranny cooler that just about everyone runs. It was like $70 I think maybe less and the tranny stays under 150 on the highway with it locked up and even in the shittiest stop and go traffic it has only gone up to 185-ish. The highest I think I ever got it was hotlapping in 95 degree weather I got the tranny to I think 200*.

Its not my DD but I could DD it easy, the converter drives almost like stock, its just kinda hard to not be loud going up steep hills.

i had my hands on that car. i yanked the sway bar & a bunch of other shit. it has my old headers & Y-pipe too. Mike, just a heads up, the drivers side rear most header bolt is broken flush in the head. it was like that when i pulled the manifolds off. it didn't leak when i put the headers on the car, but keep your eye on it. with a 233/239 in it, that car is gonna fly. i had the same cam in my old 98 Z & it run real good. just watch who you let tune it.

LOL good to know about the header bolt but oh well I have another pair of heads going on it. Whats the red wire going from the battery to the back? It leads to nothing but I was just wondering why it was there, but anyway the car has been good to me so far!
