I like living in the country. I also like visiting the city, have seen some very beautiful places out there... but definitely could not live there. I'd have to be in a suburb somewhere.. not in the heart of the city. That's just not me.

Luckily when I was married I lived outside of Erie, but worked in Erie... that was bad enough. Didn't mind the 20 minute drive. Now I'm back "home" in the country and work at home, so it's even better

Other than the triangle, strip, hill, oakland, southside, northside,
the rest of, and the majority of Pittsburgh, is suburbs.

The proximity of inner suburbs is what makes Pittsburgh unique.

lol Kevin, the lady in your back alley was none too pleased when she got hit with "Shrapnel" from the lawnmower.

I daily drive one of the loudest exhaust setups for the GTO with a huge cam and I have lots of neighbors... I leave for work at 6:45 am... no complaints yet, not concerned if someone does complain tho.

She claimed she got hit with shrapnel but the next day she thanked me for such a great fireworks display we put on so who knows...

Couldn't pay me to live in the City.

I would maybe consider Squirrel Hill. Maybe...

    City Tax FTL

Crack heads and Goofs all over the place.

Used jimmies full of nut laying all over the place.

Weird. I haven't seen any jimmies on my property.

And crack heads are everywhere, including Squirrel Hill. Just saying....

3% income tax does suck but my property taxes are cheaper then my parents that are in Butler County so.....

    eh...

Am I the only one that didn't read into the article as meaning "living within city limits" vs "Pittsburgh area"?
