Wow - that's pretty darn impressive, especially when you consider how the Ecoboost must get pretty decent gas mileage even in the F150.

Anyone hear the prelim mileage #s?

i have a test drive from ford on 11/17 in the ecoboost, they are suppose to bring the truck to my office

My 05 200HP 4.6 F150 does the quarter mile in about 18-19 seconds and only gets 14MPG. Impressive to drop 2 cylinders, 5 seconds and add 100HP. The torque compared to the 6.2 is insane. Motor Trend estimates 16/23mpg.

We're planning on buying a '11 in the spring. I thought the 5.0 would be an awesome improvement, but this could make things real interesting.

Damn 14.60's in a 2wd ex/cab f150..not bad...and that motor is made to tow...over 10,500lbs when optioned right lol. I want one...reg cab 2wd short bed. Lightly Mod it and its in mid 13's easy.....the Lightning of the future is a V6..wow.
