I have a used Eaton Truetrac diferantial. I bought it used to put into my GT500, but have decided to go another direction.
The differential has 500 miles on it and works perfectly.
This should fit any 8.8 with 31 spline axles.
$300

It is perfectly smooth on the street. It is no less smooth and quiet than stock. Not positive about high speed cornering, but I would think it should be great. It only engages when traction is lost.
Bump
I run this in my TTSaleen and it is perfect.
Quiet on the street and pulls both tires equally.
No slip, no problem!
Highly recommend!

Are there pieces broke off the top edge in the first pic?
89 Vert, Stock block, H/C/I , DIY turbo kit MPT70 , Tweecer RT, C4 trans. 17 lbs boost. 3400#s - 10.3 @ 136 mph.
Dyno Jet - 542 RWHP / 545 RWTQ
Im located in Whitehall.
There is nothing broken, that is the way that the edge is from the factory.
How much better is this diff compared to a 03 cobra ford racing one? That is what I was thinking of getting but not 100%. What are the ups and downs of the Eaton and ford racing?
Well one benefit of the Truetrac is that there are no clutches to wear out.
To my knowlege, this unit would be much stronger than the ford racing.

Talk to Ed (Ares) ... he runs the truTrac and would be a good reference ... FWIW, that is likely what I would of used in my car if I didn't get the Detroit Locker I have now.
I would love to buy this but my impact gun just broke at work today. So if I can fix it, I will buy this diff. If I have to buy a new IR impact gun, Ill have to wait :( I'd love to come get it soon. If you dont sell it I WILL buy it once I got the cash!!
