Well I need to find a new place to host pictures. Photobucket can go to hell with the $100 to $400 jump.

Got all the piping mocked up in car and can now say I have only 3 issues with this ON3 setup. 1 - The merge pipe I think (not sure really) is off slightly. Nothing major. Which leads to 2 - the support bracket included for turbo will never align and bolt together. Which will be solved by making a support that will actually be able to support something. Waiting on a part to arrive Monday for that. Then the last which was an issue until I did some cutting and found a new appreciation for those that make custom headers. That is some serious test of ones patience trying to get pieces of tubing cut and aligned just right. I forgot to take a picture of how it looked and wasn't going to fit together.

Coming off inter cooler was a long leg/short leg 90* tube that blow off is mounted to. Between it and the piping to throttle body was a piece of two nineties welded together. To get it all together wasn't happening. Seemed to need another 3" off long leg at inter cooler. Any other way I tried just wouldn't work. So a little cutting, some swearing and more cutting. Was able to reuse the pipe after my fix. I got something that fits better than was originally. Now to weld it all together.

Few more to show new pipe fitment and the one thing I wasn't wanting to do but pulled out 4" hole saw. Then ovaled it out 3/8" to rear for throttle body pipe to pass thru.

Thanks. Trying to keep with a silver/black theme on engine.

Duplicolor Chevrolet Orange-Red engine paints. Very close to Comp orange. Tested it and another shade on scrap metal and put it on fender in sun. Found it good enough for engine compartment.

Any ideas on how to clean the ink stamp off the silicone couplers? I tried Acetone and brake cleaner. Neither did a thing.

It's probably laser etched. Can you flip them inside out?

I usually turn the logo so it's not easily visible. I've never tried removing it.

It's seems to me the logos are stamped when the silicon is molded and it's in there. Like was said, turn them so they aren't easy to see is about all you can do

Unfortunately they are marked on two sides. So can't hide it. I will just replace them if need be.

Went in to work real quick to weld the pipe. First time welding aluminum. It's not pretty but I think it came out ok for first real try. I messed with some scrap tube to see what worked and didn't. I don't have to look at it so

Picked up a Comp Eng. cage kit for car today. I looked at pics of other kits from other places. I found them to look horrible. I like how the front bars fit up along A-pilar and roof line all once piece using an eyebrow bar. Went with mild steel and using Rhodes Race Cars swing out door bar kit. Which is actually pretty nice. Also grabbed some steel for thru floor sub-frame connectors.

I guess looking at the pictures that it doesn't have a hoop at the roof, rather just the side bars from the main hoop to the floor, then a "straight" bar across the windshield?

If so, that is how I was considering converting mine if I ever need to, Not sure I want to add those front bars to mine ever ...

The eyebrow bar is slightly bent at both ends. Which let's it fit close to roof along center length. Very top bar in above pic is the eyebrow bar.

Nice template for placing holes in dash. Think I will modify dash so it can still be removed. Should be simple enough.
