    Haha Ron!

Sean, I can do it easily in your Fox as well with no swing out, though I do have to think small. Stupid line lock.

Chuck - we'll just have to agree to disagree on the swingout bars. Getting in and out of the car at the track or even to a lesser extent on the street without the swingout bars is easily enough done - agreed. Getting in and out of the car with no swing outs in an enclosed trailer - I just think would be easier with the swing outs. Unless having them affects being able to get a cage certified - just don't see the justification for working harder and not smarter

What would you use to weld .134 wall tubing.

.024 or .030 wire? I have a cylinder to send out for C-25 shielding gas.

I put swing outs in my car so I could take my 80 plus year old father for a ride. He was my "Hero". Added benefit, they hold my doors open when I'm working on something on the inside.

You've seen me do the Jim Carrey Ace Ventura II rhino giving birth move to climb out of the window of my car in the trailer. Where there's a will, there's a way lol.

Picked up a HF notcher(they are same as the cheap Eastwood, Woodward Fab and few others) Got it cheap with a super coupon and then upgraded it with a Ol'joint Jigger bearing block and arbor shaft(HF arbor shaft too small for bearing block). Also massaged the bolt slots for block with small sanding drum so that 3/8" bolts just fit. Now no play as HF uses bolts smaller than slot for their block. People don't kid about the play these units with bushings have vs bearing equipped Just need to make a few test cuts to get center line setup. New block raised arbor shaft. Should do nicely once dialed in.

Also got a Klutch 140si mig welder. Inverter based and light. Thing was only 39lbs shipped. 30-140amp, 30% @ 90, metal drive system, spot timer, spool gun capable and can do 3/16". Was between this and the Hobart 140. My old Lincoln Weldpak(flux core machine) has done well for 14+ years and a few ladder racks but I needed something with gas shielding. I lack patience with my Tig welder so itching to give this a go. Just need to retest my gas cylinders and send them out for refill. Then let the cutting begin.

Ok SFI bell housings suck. Well least on a mod motor. Only have one safety bolt that can't be used. I don't think it is an issue since starter bolts in same location using 3 bolts. Just above the starter pocket I can put the bolt thru but it is impossible to put lock washer and nut on. There is an ear on the block that is just above the hole. So bolt comes thru cleanly but threads are nearly touching the block with no room for the nut. Granted this is on the aluminum Teksid block so not sure how different the iron blocks are in that same location.

Then there are the two up top that go in between heads and block. Had to pull intake to even have a chance to get nuts on. Right side not to bad but left side. I had to grind down a wrench, tape nut to wrench and glued lock washer to nut to get it down into position. I completely forgot I wanted to weld those nuts to block plate but was not ripping everything apart to do it. Something to do next time it needs a clutch. Pretty sure I can get to these with intake on if I need to just will suck.

I have a similar mystery hole near the starter on mine. I'm not sure why it's there and it's not part of the safety array.
