Dropped block off at DLK tuesday at lunch and was done by 3:15pm Just hottanked/degreased but man its clean. Now to deburr inside of block and tap oil drain backs for tubes to control oil return to pan. Order some studs for mains, heads and new bolts for side bolts. May use the rear seal plate from MMR since it's 1/2" thick Billet which should be stiffer than stock.

Got answer from DSS and pistons should be shipped tomorrow. They had to make them and pin fit them.

Been thinking of changing up my power adder. Seriously thinking of selling the Vortech setup and going turbo. Kinda one of those do I or don't I moments :)

Don't do it Ed. Believe me it pains me to try and steer you away from a turbo, but for the racing you do, stay with the belt drive SC and have fun. I know that is against every bit of my being, but you have seen what I go through trying to bracket race and its too many variables.

Was thinking of the new ON3 setup using forward facing headers and a 70 or 76mm turbo. Nice kits for the money even if not perfect. Lil tweaking to them. Maybe something to try if I use the DOHC heads on my iron block and shove it in the GT350

Got nice deal on forged crank. So should have that this week.

Cool build, I think I would go turbo but if you bracket race alot it could be a pain but it would be fun regardless. Keep up with the good work, look forward to seeing more posts.

Got the crank today. So now just need to decide on bearings and rings and get it all checked to see what if any change to balance needs done.
