Nice car... would be 100x better with 3 pedals ;)

That car will make an awesome daily driver. My Regal GS and Monte Carlo SS are pretty much the same thing. Super reliable, great in the snow, real torquey, comfortable, etc.

Buy it, throw some real basic cheap mods on it (CAI, rockers, SC pulley, front exhaust manifold, downpipe) and you're gas mileage and fun factor will go up too. My Monte get's ~22 MPG in combined city/suburban driving.

They're hard to beat for daily drivers. Plus, the whine is fun.

I'd get it, but if you want an awesome daily driver, find an srt4 instead ;)

Buddy of mine has an SRT-4- his is modded pretty good (Mopar Stage 2 plus extras). It's damn quick and I like it alot...but it had lots of weird rattles/noises/etc and isn't nearly as quiet and cushy as that GTP will be. :D

I hadnt considered that factor (the interior for kids). Given that factor I'dhave to give the nod to the GTP. but if your kids are still small they'll easily fit in the back and the SRT4 does have 4 doors... just sayin' ;)

I had one for a few years pretty good car. I sold it with almost 160,000 on it still running great but the transmission was starting to shift a little sluggishly. Really comfortable to drive.
