Because for the gains he would have gotten, it would not be worth it. Loosing charging is not good. The stock alt's. suffer and strain with just the defroster and headlights on. Slow 'em down and you have a dead car. Cooling suffers too. Just not worth it. Biggest scam out there.

well when i was running just a crank pully, i had no issues... i also had bunch other mods, so this could have been why... then i ran all 3 u/d with a 3g alt. and had good charging,lopy idle (cam)... no issues at all..

just some info on a past stang i owned... i do think that they are over rated, people think they can beat a lambo once they read the box & install them... lol

HAHAHA Thats too funny. The 3G is about the only thing you can do to fix the charging problem. Thats why I have 2 of them. One for a spare.
