Nice Bob, looking good.
Not sure if you saw I put my turbo up for sale, think you could make it fit in there? :)

LOL, part of the excercise this winter is to STOP breaking stuff. I was taking the crackmaster header off every other week for cracks. The other thing I'm trying not to break is my feet ;)
The agenda hasnt changed however, go or blow :D
I can;t wait for warm weather Ed ... you going to have the 4V ready?
LOL, I likely could make it fit, the question would better be if I could spool it by 10,000 rpm. There is only 140 cubic inches of push ... Actually both Flanders and Huber are running 88 mm (ish ;) turbos ... Daves takes ot 5,000 rpm to reach boost but then hold on.
huber had a 76mm on a couple years ago but he is just a wee bit bigger than 140 cubes

Looks good Bob! I cant wait for warm weather also. I look forward to seeing your car run.
Ed - I hear you, and every mod needs a mod. It never ends it seems.
Troy - I wouldn't believe everything about that for sure it's bigger (2.85) but I know what has been put n public is a bit on the small side ;)
Mike - I'm so ready for warm weather. We are planning to hit as many UMTR races as I can so I'm not sure how many regular PRP races we will make. I'm always there and will test, then probably show up some to confuse the points in street ;)
i was at indy when his turbo let go and paul was going to loan him his 64 he needed a 76

Ed - I had been getting most stuff from race part solutions but have mostly switched to treadstone performance. I get a little discount at RPS but Treadstone still usually is cheaper and has nice stuff too.

Wow - you've been busy! NICE!!! Header looks great and so does everything else. How long is your T5 going to live behind this new boost with those sticky tires?

New intercooler wrap doesn't look efficient Bob :)
BTW how many V8s could you have built for the same cash ;)
Hope to see it soon.

Sticky tires (and lower gears) have never been an issue for transimissions for me, Every one I've ever broke has been third gear. Hit it clean, or miss it clean and they live, get it part way in and let the clutch out and it explodes. And that's power shifted every pass.
The "good" news is that these new bellhousing clear the way for me to switch to a TKO at some point. I've started save, just need to save a whole lot more ;) Beyond the trans, I would need to pay Liberty for mods, yoke, shifter, new rear gears, etc, etc so it's not a cheap upgrade either.
I hope I can muttle with T5's one more season. I have one getting fresh and the one in the car. Hopefully I can come up with one more spare and should be set for the year.
It's a prototype, we will see ;)
In the end, it sure would have been easier, that's for sure. On the other hand, that's never what I'm about. I love the challenges and do this because I enjoy it. I have taught myself how to do just about everything, even now to the point I am tuning from the ground up.
I know everybody looks at this from the drag race side, but those that see it all the time know, I drive this car every day April through November, rain or shine, and race it every chance I get (and without mercy). Stuff is going to break ;)
