    New best for Burntire 10.05

First Trip to the track running E-85. Picked up 2MPH over the race gas. Track was a little soft so I had the two step backed off some compared to the best time on race gas. 9's are in sight.

    Whipple 2.3L 19 PSI, Solid Axle, TH-400, 3:55 Gears

Same timing as the race gas. Gains are a result of fuel change only.
Car ran consistent in the 10.19 -10.22 range with on time best of 10.15 on VP109.

Hey Jeff - nice run! Chris Fick ( my sister's hubby ) said you had a fast Cobra, but I didn't know you were still in the area or on SCS - I did a double-take when I heard your name in the video. I still remember a ride you gave me back in the early 90's in you '89 (?) LX 5.0, getting sideways in 4 gears on Brodhead Road. Other than that, I think the last time I saw you was at their wedding? Anyway, nice car!

    Take it easy.

Hey Ron good to hear from you. I have been in AZ since 2004. The LX was my Black 90 with a Powerdyne Blower with a hugh 6PSI pulley. When this site crashes or needs work Lou calls me.

Here are all my videos all the way back to when the car still had IRS

I looked at a bunch of old data. For the most part it is about a 2.5 MPH and.15 ET gain based on many timeslips in similar conditions. The car has more in it with a harder launch. So switching to E-85 is a good deal.

I had all my excuses ready for the track officials. "No Way, Clocks must be messed up, must be some good air".
