I think it's funny. Instead of putting more technology into making a better performing motor, GM and Mopar just add size. Dodge is now coming out with a 6.4L for the SRT-8 Challenger.

I can't watch the vid at work, so i don't know exactly what it is, but i'm assuming its a car comparison by a magazine or website?? Isn't the point of these comparisons to take the "driver mod" out of the equation.... so, an auto tranny is the best way to do this.... can't fault them for that...

Talking about dynos and overrating and underrating is nothing short of gay. Dynos read differently from one to the next. Unless you take the engine out of a new 5.0 and put it back on Fords engine dyno to see what it makes is the only way anyone could prove underrating or overrating. I personally don't care either way, and its really track numbers that do it for me. Just my 2 cents.

Indeed. Ford would never do that. Ford would never increase displacement from 4.6L to 5.0L to pick up a whole bunch of horsepower because that would be dumb, like GM and Mopar.
