    1996 F150 4wd - clean and cheap!

1996 Ford F150, XLT, 4x4, 6cyl, auto, great conditon inside and out, little to no rust, highway miles (206k), many new parts, tires are 50%, tool box, bedliner, pwr everything, cold a/c!

I'm third owner....first one was a contractor (manager) driving to different jobs sites...second owner was a college student traveling to PS Behrend.

New Parts within last 1.5 yrs:

    Alternator
    Battery
    Starter
    Front Brakes
    Rear Brakes
    Wheel Bearings
    Dust Seals

    Within last 2 yrs:

    Rebuilt Transfer Case
    Rebuilt Rearend
    Manual Hubs

(all new seals, bearings, fluids, etc)

Needs a few things....radius arm bushing on driver side; CEL is on...has been ever since I've owned it..so it might need an 02 sensor. (not sure)

Letting it go cheap... $2600 if it sells by the end of this week.

    $2800 next week

    Give me a call....724-825-8956

Saw this truck today at lunch and it looks very nice! Shows NO signs of the mileage If you're in the market for a cheap 4x4 truck, make it a point to go see this one!

But the 300 will last WAYYYY Longer than either of them! My 300 does alot more than the 5.0 I used to have would have EVER done.

    Ive had/Have a 300, a 302 (x2) 351 (x3) a 7.3L diesel. I plow snow with the 300, cooked two 351's and wanted to scrap the 302's. And I daily Drive the Diesel.

I know they are very reliable motors but will it pull my trailer w/ my cobra on the back???

10 ft-lbs less torque than a 302...at I think 1000 less rpm. Now it does have less hp...but torque is what gets you moving.

I didn't put it in the for sale add...but it does have a Reese Hitch already installed. Just needs a receiver and a ball.

I have pulled my small 14' fishing boat with this truck and didn't even notice the boat was back there. However, a car and trailer is considerably heavier so I cannot say how well it will pull it. (if a 302 will do it....i see no reason why the 300 would struggle)

Idk about the pulling part, but I know that my 302V8 I had, would barely pull my car trailer. haha The gas mileage was hideous. But, with a few modifications to a 300, im sure that you wouldn't have a problem towing, it may not be fast, but it will pull it. Id do some reasearch online!

Stieny on here towed his 00 gt on an aluminum car trailer perfectly fine with a 94 f150 straight 6 5spd. That thing did extremely well with the car. I think its because of the low rpm torque. The only thing different about the truck would be the beefed up leaf springs because it used to be a work truck for a crane service company.
