Lol. The trick is to bring timing in approachin the torque peak, be at minimal timing at the high cylinder pressure range, but you can generally bring a LOT back in after the peak (although it may not add a lot of power)
Hard to tell peak torque on dyno graph with the auto, non lockup converter. I started at 3k rpm, the converter flashed to 5k, so my graph read pretty much from 5k to 6k flat across 545 tq.
