    My 03 Mineral Grey GT

Hey guys, here are some pictures of the 03 Mineral Grey GT I recently picked up. Hopefully doing some small things to it over the winter.

Hard to see, but it has dual stainless exhausts. No name on the mufflers but they sound great! Deep and mellow.

Looks like an E bay cold air kit. I want to loose the blue, go with some other color maybe black.

    Needs a chin strap, badly.

And one of my old sn 95 (rest in pieces)

Over all I am happy with the car. Shifts great, only a few marks on the hood. Interior is perfect, looks brand new. I really want to drop it 1.5", I hate seeing that huge gap.

Let me know what you guys think of this. I found this picture on Moddedmustangs.com. The owner painted the stock wheels gloss black and I think it looks good. Since my old wheels wont sell for some reason ive been thinking about doing it.

My plans, 1.5" drop, strut brace, black wheels (bullitt, staggered), chin strap ( possibly 99 Cobra front bumper down the road), off road x pipe, light light tint and some engine dress up and pulleys. And some other small odds and ends.

    Overall, I LOVE having a V8 over a V6!

Sorry bro but I think that is DSG--dark shadow grey.
I had an '01 MG Cobra and I know the color is very light dependent, but I still don't think it ever hides the bronze color of MG that much. Sweet looking car though, lots of guys like DGS more than MG because MG has more gold/bronze.
Congrats on joining the V8 club, be careful this time of year---seriously.

I had my doubts but that is what the dealer site said it was. I like the color. Yes, the little snow we have had so far has been interesting in the car. I'm glad to have a stick thought in the winter again. My 92 Lifted Wrangler is a stick and got around great, but it needs A LOT of work and hasn't moved in awhile.

After looking around, MG seems gold your right. I like what I got better! haha

Nice looking car. In addition to the mach one chin spoiler I would def do a mach one grille delete. It looks like you have an aftermarket plenum/tb combo as well.

Yes, I was thinking the same in regards to the throttle body and plenum but I need to find a stock gt to compare to see what the PO did to it. Nothing on it I know that is aftermarket is stamped with a name or anything so its hard. I can snap a closer pic if any of you guys can identify it, Id just like to know. Same with the duals, no name but sound great probably a knock off.

Ive looked at the grill delete, and I don't see why I cant make it my self with the stock one. I check CL almost nightly and never find anything good, like the delete for instance.

The plenum has the same design as the C&l plenum I had on my gt just without the logo. I can't remember who made the knock-off version.

Yea i was about to say about the plenum/tb. Definitely aftermarket. Those stock wheels painted usually come out good if you paint them right. It would probably look pretty good on the car.

I would do them right, I just have to make up my mind. This is the nicest, newest car Ive ever had and I don't want to junk it up or look dumb. The 95 was a differnt story, I feel I ruined that car but now its gone and I can redeem my self.

I cant wait for next summer, car shows, events and cruisin!

Car looks really nice! I've had 2 gray foxes and always liked that shade.

I'm not a fan of stock rims changed to black. I actually like the stock rims on your car, or some polished or chrome Cobra rims would look sharp. How about some 2007-8 Shelby GT 500 rims?

Or you could clone MineralRob's look...on his car I wouldn't change a single thing!!

Some springs to lower the car just a tad would be nice.

Congrats again on a really nice car!

Yeah, I don't think I will. I t might look dumb with out a drop or just tacky. I like the black bullitts with chrome lip and deep dish in the rear. Or black Saleens, I don't even care if they are knock offs. :D

    Now you're talking!!

Deep dish polished lip black bullitts are hard to beat.

...and chrome Saleens are one of the classiest rims out there.

I have these black bullits freshly powder coated. sitting in my garage. Not deep dish rears, but nice wheels nontheless. I would be willing to get rid of for a fair price. PM me if interested.

Black wheels with a drop will look good.
Lowering the car with the stock wheels won't look terrible but it will make the rears look narrow and tucked in...not a good look.
Just my experience from lowering my '01 Cobra, I did it on stock wheels and had '03 18s ordered the same night :)
