18" tires aren't really that bad.

    19s are a different story.

I don't know about 18s, not really my kind of look I want to go for.

I figure I am going to shop around and find the best possible price used for 17s.

Did my first mod this evening. Bought a 12" antenna at the new Auto Zone Canonsburg, 10 bucks. And I cleaned it up alittle with spray wax and tire shine, thats as far as I go in the winter time. Also the Plenum and tb are after market, but I didnt get a chance to mesure the TB.

the black wheels would rock, just get them powder coated instead of paint, its cheap and will last.

Powder coat cheap? Everywhere Ive seen powdercoating wheels I might as well just buy black wheels. If you know of somewhere cheap that powdercoats, PM me please!

    Thanks!

Powder coat and cheap. Two words I rarely see together.

Although, it is durable, and looks nice.

Everywhere I have see powder coat for wheels is steep. I dont think it would be worth it for stock wheels, maybe if I had a set of aftermarket wheels. I think if I did paint them black and put in the time for prep they would come out decent. I spent to much on x mas so I had to push my lowering springs back a few weeks anyway. I might even wait and do a bulk order, the springs, Mach 1 chin strap and the MUSTANG bumper inserts. I havent been on AM lately so I dont know if they have free shipping right now or not.

I just looked at Collins PC, it says 300 and up. Im not going to pay 300 for stock wheels. I could put that 300 toward a aftermarket set.

I had to cut down the money tree. I do not think it is going to grow back soon.

I think painting stock wheels black looks generally just looks cheap IMO. Atleast with the style you have anyway.

(Oddly enough I like black bullets...LOL)

I vote keeping the stockers and getting a set of blizzaks for them if you will run the car next winter. Then get a set of spring/summer/fall wheels with tires when money allows.

If I were you, I would hit a touchless car wash nearly weekly in an effort to keep the salt off of it.
