    I need some car advice

As much as I don't want to, I'm considering trading in my GT and selling my Z-34 so I can have one car for all year, something used, already depreciated and has AWD for around $15-18K. I don't want to do this, but I have no choice since I want to buy a house in the next year or so.

I was considering 2003-2004 Range Rovers and 2004-2007 Volvo S60R's. The insurance isn't bad on either vehicle for me since my record's clean, its just the potential repair bills that may come along from either car scare me.

So if you were in my shoes and wanted one car payment around $250-350 a month for an all year round vehicle, what would you suggest? (No heaps like 100,000 mile denali's or suburbans, I'm looking for a good quality vehicle, one not cheaply built.)

I second this. I've been looking for one for the girlfriend for a little while now.

My dad had an 07 TBSS AWD. I liked it, but with 4:10 gears its got horrible mileage. I took it to the House of Blues for an Iced Earth concert and got 14 mpg with it. And yea, mileage will matter cause its gonna be personal and business used.

I actually forgot about the Legacy GT option. That's a good alternative since I cant find a 6 speed S60R anywhere near here. I'd really prefer the S60R, but the Legacy would be just as good.

I think the Audi A4, A6, or Wagon.

You get touring car engineering, and AWD.

A quick look turned up a legacy and a AWD ford edge for under $19K. This place will not be beat on price. I've purchased a number of cars there and never had a problem.

Have you thought about an Escape? I had one and loved it, it went great in the snow too. I now have an infinity G35X and it too is a tank in the snow.

Nice car, but out of my price range.

    Checking out the site now.

There was a dealership like this in Altoona, but I can't remember their name.

Bingo Dennis! We had an 05 GT, and it was great. Good in the snow and it hauled ass.

I have an 05 escape and it goes great in the snow rides nice, handles well, but lower in the rpm its a little lacking in power. It runs good but the 3.0 likes to be a little higher in the rpm range before it makes good power.

I know this may not be what your looking for but I'm getting divorced and need to sell my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. 35 mpg, loaded with nav. The only thing it doesn't have is leather and the sunroof. 7yr/100K warranty. Think about it. No problems in the snow so far.

A4, is a good suggestion also. We have an 07, with the 2.0 turbo, quattro AWD. It gets great gas mileage, 35 mpg highway. It can be pricey to repair thou.
