Puking Coolant?

Well my other ride, 94 Camry with a 2.2 in it started spitting coolant everywhere while my girlfriend was driving it today(suprise, eh?) lol, anyways, she parked and all the sudden it started smoking, burning off the coolant all over the engine bay. the main source of the coolant was underneath the coolant recovery bottle...trying to think here, but sounds like some type of blockage?? i let the car run from dead cold to normal operating temp and it ran fine, no leaks, no spitting of coolant, nothing. seemed perfectly fine, hoses all intact and still connected..also, when squeezing upper/lwr hose, no pressure in them at all (assuming it spit up all the anti freeze..)..any input here fellas? much appreciated!

Yeah, start by re-filling with coolant and looking for leaks.

Does it use a 50/50 mix? If so, there could be too much water in the mixture. It could have froze, expanded, and made a small crack somewhere. I know a few cars that have done that before.
