    Ideas for good groomsmen gifts?

Wedding is few months out and looking for some ideas for good groomsmen gifts. What kinda nice things have you gotten at weddings? any good ideas or things you'd like to receive at a wedding?

Trying to budget around $50 a person but have some wiggle room depending on what the gifts are.

I did find these personalized knifes at http://www.mygroomsmengifts.com/pers...-dscc1164.html

but my fiance thinks it's not a good gift, what do you think?

    Thx in advance!

    Dan

(PS 4 total groomsmen and I'd like all the gifts to be the same)

Probably the nicest thing I (we) got was nice watches. Not great watches, but nice ones. Likely pushes your budget a little but ...

My brothers wedding, he got us all coach leather money clips, which I thought was nice. Although I really wish I had money to put in it! Where did you end up deciding to have the reception?

And yes Mike, it's coming quick haha, time has FLOWN by... speaking of which, I gotta make my way out to you soon, after the 1st maybe. I'm doing decent.... but always room for improvement!

I did ponder the money clip idea, still deciding though. Reception is @ the lamp lighter in Delmont. It is surprisingly extremely nice inside and one of the few places that will hold our 272 guest list and growing

My one buddy got us all one of those leathermen(?) multi-tools. I use it all the time.

Another buddy ( the biggest drinker in our group ) got the guys a beer yard ( about 32" tall - holds maybe 3 beers? ) with a nice monogrammed wooden stand. It used to get a lot of use, but not so much anymore. Anyway, it was a unique gift, and does bring back memories of the countless drunken nights we had during college, and summer break, and spring break, ...and on most days ending in "y"...

Nicest gift I ever got was a really nice stainless flask...Ive used it countless times. The only thing I didnt like was he had it engraved w/ his and his now ex wifes name. Other than that it was really nice.

oh yeah..you might want to fill them for the guys as well lol

Would all 4 groomsmen appreciate receiving a knife? I like the idea, but everyone is different.

I've received a money clip with my initials engraved, and use that for occasions when I don't want to carry a wallet. I got a nice shaving bag with a Pirates hat in it - you could use any hat. The best for me has been a hard bottomed duffel bag. I can pack a lot of stuff in it. I've also received a Harley Davidson collectible beer stein (which you're not supposed to drink from - WTF??), and books.
