    heat not working in fox

The heat in my fox does not want to blow when the car is on. BUT when the engine is off and the key is turned air blows just as it should. has anyone heard of this? All my fuses are good and i'm not sure where to look next.

Do you mean the blower motor works with the KOEO and doesn't work with the KOER? If so I would try wiggling the ignition key or turning it back slightly when the car is running to see if it starts working. If so you probably have an ignition switch problem. If you mean the air doesn't blow out of the right spot you could have a broken vaccum line or bad vaccum switch on the heater control.

Not sure what the KOER or KOEO is...I'll research.

and it blows just as I have it set when the key is turned but the motor has not been started. As soon as the car is stated, the air does not blow what so ever, as if it's set on "off."

Sometimes when I take a sharp turn in will kick on...or randomly while cruising down the road.

The same goes for any air coming through the vents, not just the heat.

Ignition switch harness may be coming loose. Or the ignition switch could be bad.

In that case, yes that's exactly what's going on. Sometimes it shorts when i try to start it and i have to undo the negative battery cable and reconnect to start it. That lead me to believe it IS something in the ignition now that i think of it...
