    2.3 Turbo Ported Head

I am thinking of selling my milder ported head. It does not need to go as it doesent eat anything but could put some extra $$'s to good use ;)

This head started as a D port, heart chamber head. It was machined for big valves and worked in the bowls only (pocket port job). The runners are relatively stock, but 80% of the gains with these heads is in the bowls (short side radius). The head is also modified for groove back cam bearings (put oil on top of the cam in the towers). This head also has air injection ports below the exhaust ports that are tapped and plugged.

I ran this head on my old maroon T-bird and the Capri as well. This head was never flowed but worked pretty good on my combo's. Ultimately, this head took my Capri into the 11's but with supporting parts. The better expectation is that the head went 13 flat at 105 mph in my TC at 3500 #'s, and 12.30's at 110 mph at 3200 #'s in the Capri. Both of these combos was with a stock type intake (ported), E6 manifold (ported), and a T3 turbo.

Two years ago, I upgraded the valves, springs and retainers to Bo-Ports high flow valves, single spring with damper, drop retainers for high lift cam, etc (all valve parts from Bo-Port, cam not included) ...

Cam and followers NOT included ...

I am asking $650.00 for this head. I have substantially more into it and will just keep it around as a spare for any less.

Bump - I would much rather see this go to a local guy before I mess with the big forums. You all know this is a proven deal, get your stuff into the 12's with a ranger roller cam ;)

One last bump for the local guys. I have a bunch of offers for this from TF, one of them real attractive. I would still really like this thing to stay local. I not coming home until next week so I've been able to stall those deals. Hit me up with offers before next weekend if you are interested, otherwise it's going away.

Ended up trading for something a lot lighter, and a 4 letter word ... (and it starts with "A" and ends with "A"

Right now its going to be more of a conversation piece :) I really never see it being used on the Capri, more like a Pinto or Opel wagon ;) (or some other lighter chassis)

LOL, I figured someone would head there. I couldn't get anyone to trade for a Barry Manilow cassette, so this is it ;)

For those of you that don't know, the ARCA head is a complete aftermarket head made by Esslinger for the ARCA/ReMax race series, and now used on the new midget engine program. It is a bad ass, no compromise 2.3 head. So much so that nothing stock (intake or exhaust) will even bolt to it. The port configurations are completely different. It's not what you would call a street head, so it will likely sit around here a while.

This iron head is back available ... it is currently in North Carolina but I can have it sent back up here if needed. My buddy ended up going with a olid lifter head from another buddy so this hydraulic head is available.

price is $500.00 ... trying to move this for other parts ;)
