prob right I would throw a turbo on it!!
Really??? details??!?!?!
I was thinking about it But Im thinking thats too many miles for me. my 03 gti only has 60k on it. id hate to go forward in miles. but still an option!!![]()
lol Scott.
I honestly have owned 3 Fords and havent had hardly any problems with any of them, except the 96 F150 with rust issues. it was also the oldest ford i've had as well. Just depends really on your experience with a certain vehicle, some people have more luck than others with different auto makers. Just depends on what's been good to you. Chevy's were always a problem with me, although this second one is running good aside the terrible gas mileage of the 4.3 and blazer ball joints..![]()

Yes, every auto maker has its flaws. It's the narrow minded people that stick or defend one make as if it is the only thing that can be the correct answer to your personal vehicle choice.
I have personally owned Chevy, VW, Ford, Nissan, Honda.....with the most being Ford and there is no way a Ford vehicle would ever be my first choice if I was to buy another vehicle.
But for the sake of this thread, I would definitely say 99/00 as my 2000 GT always ran strong.

no what your saying is stupid cause your arugement has no grounds or facts, all it as is an opinion which everyone knows is in the eye of the beholder. You are saying your car is better than his cause thats what you prefer, but if you would compare the two with FACTS the gto is superior in every way possible stock to stock towards a foxbody mustang.
I have owned both gm and fords. Everyone likes what they like and thats what they buy cuz its there money. But to say something is poorly designed just cause you dont like it is stupid.
I saw TB SS. Awd. great interior. 390hp. decent mpg. more creature comforts than you can imagine. AND you would be able to haul your car to the track with it cuz admit it brian.. its a race car hahaha
id love to just too expensive unless you will sell yours for 10k!
tell me ONE TIME where i said that "my car is better than his."???? i would love to see where i said that because i don't recall saying that. what i DID say is that it is poorly designed. you said its my opinion? you're damn right it is and i am entitled to that so what's your problem with it? im allowed to have an opinion aren't I?
you want facts how about this: total GTO production numbers from 04-06 was 40,808 vehicles (got that from wikipedia.org) and total for JUST MUSTANG GT's (not even considering lx's) for ONLY 1987 was 47,539. (got that from mustanggt.org)
so mustang outsold the GTO's three year latest run by a few thousand in just one year back in the 80s. no wonder they only made them for 3 years. if they weren't poorly designed why didnt more people buy them?
BTW...I wasn't calling YOU stupid, just saying that I think you're comparison is stupid because its completely different eras of vehicles

OK, you got me.. I misread your comment about when you said poorly designed and all that other stuff, i took it as you saying that you rather have your car cause its better cause (then you stated your stuff) and if you use those facts your also saying that a mustang gt sold more. Your also saying that the termy was poorly made? Cause they made and sold alot more mustang gts than termys? Just because they sold more doesnt mean that its a better vehicle. There is alot more that goes into someone buying a car. Such as money being available, what they need it for, mpg, comfort and blah blah blah
They only made my TB SS for three and half years and they sold alot more explorers in those years than my ss. Does that make the Explorer better?
I was talking about facts as in HP rating/Options that are available for/0-60 time/ handling/braking distance/mpg and so on and so forth.
I dont have a problem with opinions cuz everyone has one, but to say a car is junk just cause you dont like it is absurd especially if you never owned one.
