    Which cat-back

I am finally getting around to putting a cat-back on my TB SS and have narrowed it down to two choices. I am going to go with either the Magnaflow or the Corsa. Which do you guys like better?

    Agreed, Magnaflow..

I think the Corsa tb ss revved it harder/louder..didn't sound all that well IMO.

i have the magnaflow on my 07 ss and its nowhere near loud. sounds pretty much like stock. i got it for a hell of a deal like 350 new so i couldnt pass it up. thought it would break in and get louder but it didnt get much louder. id probably go with the corsa but the price is a killer.

I first replaced the front muffler with a Magnaflow muffler that I welded in and kept the stock rear resonator. That was cheap and sounded okay. I later bought a Corsa touring system and loved it. I vote Corsa! I have had it on the TBSS, Silverado, and now on the Z06. I am a huge fan.

ive had the tbss for about 2 years now, its the wifes summer ride, got her a cobalt ss for the winter, and i get stuck with my dakota, beater cavalier and my bikes. my tbss has e-fans, magnaflow cat back, pcmforless intake and tune. those mods REALLY woke the thing up. a good tune from somewhere like pcmforless or hptuners will make the biggest difference of all. the factory tune is holding that truck back so much

thats funny, cause when i bought my SS i got my gf a cobalt ss for christmas haha.. Yea those are what i plan on doing with a full exhaust and probably going to have pcmforless do a tune or head to NJ and have tune time performance do a dyno tune.

If you plan on keeping your cats then the Corsa isn't a bad choice, they just get really raspy without cats on the ls motors. My catless magnapacks are about as raspy as I can stand.

I have a magnaflow on my ss now, i wish i would have spent the money and got the corsa! I am thinking about deleting the rear resonator. Stainless works makes a nice kit too. They have their LMF muffler option also. I had a corsa on my 5.3 tahoe and I loved it.

you certainly could go a route like this, and maybe end up cheaper than the Corsa.....

the exhaust on my vette is a replica of teh Borla exhaust, and its totally badass... pretty darn loud (its only two bullet style mufflers), much deeper than the Borla, and sounds amazing...!

you are the reason why i voted corsa seems like magnaflow is stepping stone to corsa. just skip the magnaflow step and go straight for corsa lol
