    26 spline alignment tool needed

Anyone have a clutch alignment tool they want to sell or can anyone tell me where I can buy one locally?

I bought a used TKO setup and was hoping to install it this weekend but do not have the tool.

I've used a 26 spline GM one and wrapped electrical tape around the pilot bearing end to make it as large as the ford one for a good tight fit on occasion. Its a lot easier and cheaper than ordering one. If you get to the last 1/8-1/4" and the trans will not seat all of the way, hook up the clutch cable and have someone push the pedal in and out and it will usually free up the disc enough to align itself and allow the trans to seat properly.

Thanks for the advice, Paul. Good tip on the final seating of the trans. Much appreciated. I decided to just order from JEGS because I did also need a new throw out bearing and pilot bearing. I just ordered the three things from them and they will be here tomorrow (supposedly).

Good advice! I have every reason to believe that it will be here tomorrow and I will be able to complete the job this weekend. Thanks!
