Coming to P.Burg tomorrow to look at a car

Hey guys/gals. My name is JR Lewis. I know a few of you from racing, Carlisle or on MACA boards. I probably know Lou Mangolis the best. I came out a few years back and bought Dave King's car. Now 'm coming out to look at Bo's car this Saturday, 01-08.

I have a little problem though. I retired from racing a couple years ago and sold my truck and enclosed trailer. I live about an hour South of Rochester, NY. It's about 200 miles from Pittsburgh. I still have an open car trailer, but would not want to have a nice car like that get the road salt.

Any of you guys with an enclosed trailer interested in bringing this car back to my town, if I buy it? I live in Prattsburgh, NY, 14873. Not to be confused with PLATTSBURGH, NY, which is WAY upstate. It would be about 4 hours from Pittsburgh. Of course, adequately compensated AND steak and beers are on me at my place !!

    Thanks in advance,

    JR

Welcome, If you buy Bo's car you are getting a Beaut! I to like you have an open trailer and would not want to hall it up there in all this road crap. I just hauled my new 2011 GT/CS home last week on my trailer but it wasn't a 2 hour drive and luckly most of the salt was cleared from the roads.

    Hey guys,

Thanks, but I think I'm going to hold off. I don't have enough info on the engine builder to feel comfortable about the purchase. Not saying anything is ,or would ever happen to the motor. Just saying there is not enough info out there for me to feel comfortable. The car is beautiful, no doubt..
