I've had my Scab Raptor for 11 months now. 8100 miles on it.

With the Luxury Package and other options I love driving it everyday.

Minor problems here and there all fixed under warranty.

LED brake light, Sync Issues, Tranny TSP...

I also have been averaging a tick over 16mpg over the 11 months.

It is a 5.4L truck and I drive 17 miles to work almost all highway though.

While I did kick around the idea of upgrading to a 2011. (6.2L, remote start, ect...)

No real complaints with this truck. Anyone who buys one will absolutey love it.

I looked at those before i bought my SS. It rode nice, had great power and almost did it, but realized i would never use it for what it was built for i decided to pass. The price tag played a big part in it. haha.. They do look bad ass though.

Its basically an Edge with an extra row of seats, same interior and powertrain.

My Sister-in-law has an Edge and I have to say I really like it. Granted, there is nothing sporty about it, but from a roomey-ness and functional standpoint it's a neat ride. AWD helps in the bad weather. Gas mileage isn't that good, but there is a ton of room inside and the long wheelbase gives it a really nice ride. Sure would be nice to get one with the Eco-Boost for some extra zip!

I like the new Explorers too. But yeah - everything new is pricey to say the least. Maybe down the road once the house is paid off and the kids are in or thru college...but until then the family truckster will continue to be something used...

Thanks, but...at the moment the best offer I could give you would be a straight trade of an 05 XLT 4.6 reg cab long bed with 30K, don't think that fly too well with you...lots of extras though. :o The 5.5' bed on the screws is something I'm not sure I could live with.

In hindsight perhaps this was not a good analogy. :D

I drove both SuperCrew and SuperCab this weekend. Very nice trucks especially that 6.2 which has gobs of low end power! However the ride was a little hard for me (I know what did I expect for an off road vehicle) and that price tag for the SuperCrew is a tough pill to swallow!

My retarded mother-in-law tried fighting me lastnight saying the Explorer is an F-150 but without the bed. hahahhahahah Some of the shit that comes outta that womans is just amazing. I have never met a dumber person in my life. She got bent out of shape when I told her it was basically an Edge. HAHA What I would do for a bitch slap at times like that...

    The end.
