    best long tubes for an 03 cobra

    any ideas what long tubes will give the most hp gain on my terminator? im leaning towards hooker, but i wanna get some advice on my options

    Kooks or American Racing. Expensive but worth the money IMO.

    I agree that Kooks and American Racing are the best, but I didn't want to spend that much so I got Mac LTs. I'm happy with them and they were only like $430 shipped. I love how my car sounds with them.

    If the kooks fit on the cobra's as well as they fit on my pushrod motor, I wouldn't buy them. They hang way down on my car, I bought the SS set for 1100. Wish I would have bought something else. We put a set of Mac lt's on my buddy's 03 when he did the motor and they fit very well. Lt's, VRS x-pipe and mac cat-back sounds very nice.

    Yeah American Racing or Kooks gets my vote. 2" primaries are a bit overkill on a 281cu motor though.

    Sry but I've dyno tested both the 2" primaries help more than u would believe and its only 281ci till u put that supercharger on it

    come to think of it i would buy the mac ceramics and spend the other 500-700on something else that makes it go faster:D
